Bolsover town trail map inside the leaflet
The above 4 panels were placed at historic points around Bolsover town to explain the significance of each place in the town's story. All panels were etched into metal with enamel inlay, and could be 'rubbed' to transfer the information to paper copies for further study in the classroom or college.
Bolsover Model Village, built by the mining company to provide the mining community with housing in a wholesome environment. This panel was part of a heritage trail linked to the Bolsover Castle project. It aiming to provide visitor information and to give the current residents a reason to be proud of this important legacy in their town. The panel was a metal etching plate with black enamel inlay. The castle can be seen in the background.
